The cast will also include Awkwafina, and Tony Leung who will be portraying the real Mandarin. It’s a callback to the Ironman trilogy with The Ten Rings alluded to in the first movie, and the “fake” Mandarin who appeared in Ironman 3.

The story will be based on Jason Aaron’s Mighty Thor run, in which Jane Foster becomes the Mighty Thor. Marvel’s Hall H panel ended on a high note with Kevin Feige confirming that the studio is working on Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, Black Panther 2, Captain Marvel 2, and Fantastic Four! Then to hype fans up even more it was revealed that Mahershala Ali has just been cast as Blade!

Disney still has three release dates planned for Marvel, which are February 18th, 2022, May 6th, 2022, and July 29th, 2022. With D-23 happening next month, it’s possible that these last 3 release dates get official movies attached to them.

Also since Spider-Man is officially Sony’s property, it’s not included in Disney’s slate, so it’s very possible that Marvel fans could be treated to four Marvel movies in 2021 if Sony continues their movie pattern of releasing Spidey films every two years.
